Butterfly Prints go Cajun!
I love the stamp set Butterfly Prints. In fact I love just about anything that has a matching punch. The giant ric-rac is from the new Big Shot die called Tasteful Trim from the Winter mini on sale now. I used cajun craze, groovy guava and really rust so you could see the difference in colors. The card background is also groovy guava. I really like using the new cajun craze. It has more brown in it and looks great with lots of colors. The middle of the butterflies are just espresso dots.

Oh, I love this card! I too have a weakness for stamps with matching punches or vice versa! I see that awesome die in my future!
ReplyDeleteAll of the punches and colors you chose go so well together. Is the card a bit longer than 5 1/2" or is it just an illusion ? Thanks for sharing =)
ReplyDeleteHeather, you are correct. I made it on one of the retired guava long notes that are 6 5/8 inches long. Good eyes!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, I love the Ric Rac...mmmh.
ReplyDeleteI love this card! Great colors. I am now following you from SC.

This is pretty clever using the ric rac punch with these cool butterflies...I still haven't seen the new colors (in person) yet!! I am glad to hear the cajun craze is a great color, though!
