SU Quilted Valances for my craft room

My mother quilted valances for me with the fresh and fun Stampin UP material from the last mini catalog.  I make cards and scrapbooks for her while she makes quilts for me.  I think it is wonderful and so does she!  She used to tell me she didn't have a crafty bone in her body!  Plus I have the matching designer paper to make something for the walls.  But what should I make???

Elements of Style in Marina Mist

Elements of Style stamp set is a top seller for Stampin UP.  I'm a fan of toile and love this set.  The butterfly was first cut out using the Stampin up butterfly die and then embossed with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.  Birthday wishes is from the new Bring on the Cake stamp set in the new mini.  I used certainly celery ribbon around the card and topped it with a strip of marina mist cardstock punched with the SU ribbon punch.  A clear rhinestone brad attaches the butterfly to the card. Missed our stamp workshop last week?  This was one of our take home projects.

Quilted Valentine

Kayla, gave me this super cute valentine she made.  I love it and am going to have to case it.  She used the SU polka dot ribbon, Sending Love designer paper and matching brad from the clearance rack.  She says the paper piecing is easy but I'm going to have to try it before I believe it!  Thanks Kayla!

You're a Gem with a little Pom Pom trim!

I have a ton of friends I could give this card to except for Lu and my mom who love pink.  Orange just wouldn't cut it.  The flowers are cut using the bigshot with the new fun flowers die.  The stampin up pom pom trim comes in tangerine, melon mambo and daffodil delight.  I like it so much I can't believe I'm not hoarding it!
