Inspired by cattails
Recently I created cards for a gift shop to sell. They picked out the samples and I made a couple of each to see if there is a market for them. It is going to be fun to watch and see what happens. I made this with the Inspired by Nature stamp set. Over the next few weeks I'll share the cards with you that they picked out. Many of the cards I'll post were cased from other fabulous stampers.

Big Hug from Button Buddies
Melon mambo colors the pig and pink paper combined with SU gray. I love the fun images from the Button Buddies stamp set. They are so much fun to use for something different plus they make quick and easy cards.

Girly-Girl Friends Scrapbook for Craft Auction Fundraiser
I created a girly-girl friend themed scrapbook for the upcoming fundraiser for our small town swimming pool. It has 20 decorated pages with protectors. Using Stampin UP designer paper made it so much easier to coordinate everything. The pages are 8x8 and I hope someone enjoys it! I'll post more of the pages this week if time permits.

Sail Away and the Open Sea
I used the Stampin UP crimper to crimp the middle of the baja blue cardstock. The image is stamped with soft suede and the anchor from the open sea is in real red. The new bakers twine makes a nice rope for the anchor. I really like the sail boat from Sail away but I like all the little extras from the Open Sea stamp set. It's nice having some images for some masculine cards for a change.

Sneak Peak New SU Embossing Folder
I love all of the stampin up embossing folders. This is the new flower garden folder embossed using basic gray cardstock and layered on whisper white. I cut around the embossed edges on the gray and then the white. The four frames bird is stamped in gray on daffodil delight. I spritzed the gray cardstock with shimmer spray.

SU Quilted Valances for my craft room
My mother quilted valances for me with the fresh and fun Stampin UP material from the last mini catalog. I make cards and scrapbooks for her while she makes quilts for me. I think it is wonderful and so does she! She used to tell me she didn't have a crafty bone in her body! Plus I have the matching designer paper to make something for the walls. But what should I make???

Elements of Style in Marina Mist
Elements of Style stamp set is a top seller for Stampin UP. I'm a fan of toile and love this set. The butterfly was first cut out using the Stampin up butterfly die and then embossed with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. Birthday wishes is from the new Bring on the Cake stamp set in the new mini. I used certainly celery ribbon around the card and topped it with a strip of marina mist cardstock punched with the SU ribbon punch. A clear rhinestone brad attaches the butterfly to the card. Missed our stamp workshop last week? This was one of our take home projects.
